Article: Foil Printing

Foil Printing
In a wedding collection known for dense embroidery, not every detail needs to be stitched. In Wedding Festive ‘26 – Vol. 2, we turned to foil printing for two of our looks, bringing metallic richness to the fabric in a quieter way.
What Is Foil Printing?
Foil printing applies a metallic finish to fabric with heat. Gold foil is pressed into the design, leaving a fine, even layer of shine. Its repeated impressions resemble traditional block printing, but where block printing leaves colour, foil leaves light.
One Technique, Two Expressions
Booti Print: Small gold motifs, placed with visible space between each one. In Look 09, it appears on a soft lilac silk gharara, where the gold shows itself slowly.

Paisley Print: Bolder, with gold paisleys repeated in rows on a deep indigo base. In Look 10, it covers the lower half of the outfit, framed by embroidered borders at the hem.

It sits beside our embroidery, not in place of it, giving the eye a place to rest between rich details.
Foil printing is a craft of restraint: a little gold, pressed with care, where it matters.
